Napa's quiet neighbor

Just east of Napa, Suisun Valley (pronounced “suh-SOON”) is a compact, rural valley of family farms, fruit stands and small wineries. It is one of California's earliest designated appellations, yet it remains refreshingly uncrowded.

Afternoon breezes from Suisun Bay help shape a wide variety of wines, and the valley takes particular pride in its Petite Sirah. It is an easy stop between the Bay Area and Sacramento.
