Before it was Silicon Valley, the Santa Clara Valley was farm and orchard country with a long winemaking history. Today a handful of urban wineries in San Jose and neighboring cities carry that tradition forward.
Many work with grapes from the nearby Santa Cruz Mountains and Santa Clara Valley, and the mountain wineries above Saratoga and Los Gatos are a short drive away.
