Above Malibu's famous beaches, the Santa Monica Mountains hold small vineyards on steep canyon slopes and ridgetops. The Malibu Coast appellation covers much of this terrain, where sunshine meets cooling ocean air.
Tasting rooms in Malibu and nearby Agoura Hills, Calabasas and Westlake Village make it easy to combine wine with coastal drives and Pacific views.
