The Santa Barbara Museum of Art on State Street is free for everyone on 1st Thursday evenings and for Tri-County residents on 2nd Sundays. The Museum of Natural History and the Old Mission are in Mission Canyon; MOXI, the Sea Center and the Maritime Museum are on the waterfront; the Historical Museum downtown and UCSB's AD&A Museum are free.
